The Space

Alba is our brand new shepherds hut - and will be available from April 2023.

It will be similar in layout to Coorie and as soon as we get the pics ready they'll be here for you to see.

 

Hand-built by us to a high standard, this magical Shepherd Hut has all the essentials for a peaceful, revitalizing few days away. In Alba the bed is king size and comfortable, the shower is large with a rain shower head and the kitchen has a microwave, small fridge and stove top. The only source of heating is a wood-burning stove and a small oil heater. This adds warmth to an enchanting interior. You'll have everything you need for a great stay and in a fantastic location to explore the surrounding area of the Cairngorm National Park.

Guest Access

Alba is all yours for the duration of the stay with a large lean to outside. Imagine sitting in the evening sun with a drink admiring the Nature reserve, the Cairngorm Mountains and as the sun sets, star gazing into perfectly clear skies.

 

Also near Alba there are 2 other huts (Coorie & Bothan & a little further, the Horsebox) if you would like to book as a family or group of friends this is possible.

Highland Shepherd Huts are located in the heart of Cairngorm National Park, offering the ultimate glamping experience.

 

​Experience nature and adventure in our shepherd's huts situated in 16 acres of woodland at Mondhuie near Nethy Bridge.

 

Nethy Bridge is only a 10 minute walk away with a local butcher, coffee shop and local convenience store.

 

Aviemore is 10 miles away and takes around 15 minutes to reach by car or alternatively hop on one of our bikes and enjoy a ride in some lovely landscapes full of pine trees and heather.
