The Space

Offering a great experience with our Converted Horsebox.
It has the same stunning views as the Shepherd Huts but this is Off grid.

Don't be fooled it's a lovely comfortable place to stay.

No mains water or electricity but comfortable with a Kingsize bed, Woodburning stove, outdoor seating on a wraparound deck. Cooking on a double camping stove, campervan styled sink, battery lights. Quirky outdoor gas powered shower, portable toilet .......... what more do you need!

A great place to chill and relax.

Available to book between May & September as it's not insulated.

Booking Terms

The Horsebox is all yours for the duration of the stay. Imagine sitting in the evening sun with a drink admiring the Nature reserve, the Cairngorm Mountains and as the sun sets, star gazing into perfectly clear skies.

 

Also nearby there are another couple of huts if you would like to book as a family or group of friends this is possible.

Highland Shepherd Huts are located in the heart of Cairngorm National Park, offering the ultimate glamping experience.

 

​Experience nature and adventure in our shepherd's huts situated in 16 acres of woodland at Mondhuie near Nethy Bridge.

 

Nethy Bridge is only a 10 minute walk away with a local butcher, coffee shop and local convenience store.

 

Aviemore is 10 miles away and takes around 15 minutes to reach by car or alternatively hop on one of our bikes and enjoy a ride in some lovely landscapes full of pine trees and heather.

PLEASE NOTE:

There is no Wi-Fi and no TV

You can check-in any day.

We accept well behaved dogs and the hut only has room for 1 large dog or 2 small dogs.

We have to charge for this - £15 per dog per stay.
