is leaving our site at the end of October and making way for a new bigger hut suitable for a family of 4. The new hut will be called Coorie and as soon as we have photos we will update the website.
Coorie will be unavailable to book after the 3rd week of October

The Space

Ready for 2026 and hand-built by us to a high standard, this cabin has all the essentials for a peaceful, revitalizing few days away. In Coorie the kingsize bed will be accessed via a few steps and underneath will be a pullout kingsize bed. It will have a huge bed end window.  The shower room will be big and the kitchen will be fully equipped for cooking. Heating will be  provided by a wood-burning stove and a radiator. You'll have everything you need for a great stay and in a fantastic location to explore the surrounding area of the Cairngorm National Park.

Guest Access

Coorie is all yours for the duration of the stay with a woodburner outside. Imagine sitting in the evening sun with a drink admiring the Nature reserve, the Cairngorm Mountains and as the sun sets, star gazing into perfectly clear skies.

 

Also near Coorie there is another couple of huts if you would like to book as a family or group of friends this is possible.

Highland Shepherd Huts are located in the heart of Cairngorm National Park, offering the ultimate glamping experience.

 

​Experience nature and adventure in our shepherd's huts situated in 16 acres of woodland at Mondhuie near Nethy Bridge.

 

Nethy Bridge is only a 10 minute walk away with a local butcher, coffee shop and local convenience store.

 

Aviemore is 10 miles away and takes around 15 minutes to reach by car or alternatively hop on one of our bikes and enjoy a ride in some lovely landscapes full of pine trees and heather.

PLEASE NOTE:

There is no Wi-Fi and no TV

You can check-in any day.

We accept well behaved dogs and the hut only has room for 1 large dog or 2 small dogs.

We have to charge for this - £20 per dog per stay.
